Walking
In the Lot-et-Garonne you will find many easy walks and challenging hikes
and around Les Pruniers there are some lovely walks including a 6km walk
around Tombeboeuf lake.
Cycling
We are within easy reach of both the Velo Route and the Voie Verte which
is a safe off-road cycling route.
Water Sports
Les Pruniers is about 15 minutes drive from the river beach at Castelmoron
on the banks of the Lot river. Here you will find canoes, kayaks and pedalos
for hire as well as hydroplanes and motor boats, there are also bikes for
hire. There is a smaller beach at Casseneuil which also has canoes and
kayaks for hire.
Adventure parks
They are plenty of adventure parks for the children, Parc Walibi, The
Magic Cauldron and Aqua Park Junior’land are all within easy reach.
Sightseeing and exploring
There are countless interesting destinations to visit in both the Lot et
Garonne and the Dordogne, take your pick from beautiful Chateaux,
picturesque bastide towns and villages, stunning river trips, amazing caves
and grottoes, markets, museums, wine tours and many cultural events
throughout the year.

Wine tours
We are within easy reach of the Bergerac, Cote de Duras and Bordeaux wine
regions. Why not book a tour and wine tasting at one of the many vineyards
in our area offering this service, we can help you with recommendations.
Golf
We are a 5 minute drive from Golf de Barthe in Tombeboeuf, an attractive 9
hole 36 par course with club and buggy hire available. There is also an
excellent course in Villeneuve-sur-Lot which is only 25km away.
Markets
In the summer months there are many night markets in the area with live
music where you can choose some delicious food from the many stalls
available and then sit in delightful surroundings to eat, drink and dance
the night away, the nearest night market to Les Pruniers is in our local
town Monclar D’Agenais and on other nights of the week you can visit some
very popular ones in Eymet, Fongrave and Laparade, which are all very local
to us. There are also many day markets where you can buy your fresh
provisions which continue throughout the year
